Daniel Mallmann

Daniel Mallmann studied Electrical Engineering and received his diploma from the RWTH Aachen, Germany, in 1997. Since then he worked as a research scientist in the Distributed Systems and Grid Cmputing division at Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC), Forschungszentrum Jülich. He was involved in several Grid projects starting with EUROGRID ( www.eurogrid.org) in 2000 and coordinated the FP6 project UniGrids ( www.unigrids.org). Currently he is involved in the FP7 projects DEISA2 ( www.deisa.eu), EMI ( www.emi.eu), EGI-InSPIRE ( www.egi.eu), FIT4Green ( www.fit4green.eu) and the German D-Grid project SLA4D-Grid ( www.sla4d-grid.de). Since May 2010 he is leading the division Distributed Systems and Grid Cmputing. His research interests are distributed computing, data management, and Service Level Agreements.
