Senior Director, Technical Computing, Mellanox Technologies, USA

Gilad Shainer is a Senior Director of high-performance and technical computing at Mellanox Technologies. He joined Mellanox in 2001 to develop and manage Mellanox InfiniBand products and since 2005 he is leading the high-performance and technical computing group. Mr. Shainer holds an M.Sc. degree (2001, Cum Laude) and a B.Sc. degree (1998, Cum Laude) in Electrical Engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology in Israel and holds patents in the field of high-speed networking. He is also the chairman of the HPC Advisory Council and a co-chair of the LWG working group of Open Fabrics.
