Wolfgang Dreyer

Product Solution Manager for High Performance Computing, Microsoft, Germany

Wolfgang Dreyer (51) is Product Solution Manager for High Performance Computing (HPC) at Microsoft Germany since November 2006. He is responsible for marketing measures and further development of Microsoft Compute Cluster Server as a standard based cluster platform set up on Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition.

Before joining Microsoft Wolfgang Dreyer held several sales- and marketing positions at various companies of the HPC industry, such as NEC High Performance Computing Europe and Allinea LTD. In 1992 Wolfgang founded Quant-X, an HPC company based in Austria. He held the position of the CEO until 2003. Within this function Wolfgang was responsible for he development and operation of a super computer at the academy of sciences in Moscow, Russia, in 2002.
