HPC in Asia Workshop
The first HPC in Asia Workshop was held as part of ISC’11 and drew 90 attendees from Asia, Europe and the U.S. The success of that workshop led organizers to plan a second session in 2012. The workshop, to be held June 17 in Hamburg, Germany, aims to share information on the latest status of HPC systems and applications from leading countries in Asia, as well as presenting related HPC activities and research in Asia.
The workshop will conclude with a reception held jointly with participants in PRACE (Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe) Day, a parallel workshop being held on the same day. The goal is to provide a collegial setting to allow HPC researchers from Asia and Europe to network and explore possible areas of collaboration.
