| Abstract: | High performance computing has arrived in the cloud. This tutorial describes the technologies, architectures and management tools of working with high performance compute resources in the cloud. Using real world examples, this tutorial takes a guided tour through the provisioning and orchestration of large scale, distributed systems, to executing tightly coupled, parallel tasks on high specification hardware and GPUs. We’ll also discuss how to manage, secure and integrate elastic resources with existing HPC infrastructure. Please arrive with an active Amazon Web Services account. You can sign up for free at aws.amazon.com. All participants will receive $100 worth of Amazon Web Services credits to cover the cost of the tutorial. |
