In this talk I will describe some of the building blocks that our physicists are using in order to analyse the extreme amounts of data from the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. In particular, I will mention the file and storage systems in use, the Grid middle-ware and the job execution schemes deployed by the experiments as well as the advanced tool-kits for building the analytics software. |
