“Big Data” informatics and scientific simulation have fundamental differences. We will discuss these differences in the context of supercomputing resources and graph algorithms. The goal of this talk is not to present any particular algorithm or computation, but to facilitate discussion about the future potential of HPC computing for “Big Data” analytics. |
