| Abstract: |
|
Technologies applied for the fastest supercomputers are experiencing very quick de-velopment. There are many challenges for building a supercomputer with peak performance of 100 Petaflops. Recently, China released its new plan of developing such kind of supercomputer. As a pioneer of supercomputing in China, Chinese Academy of Sciences incorporated "co-design" in developing supercomputing applications that are able to take advantage of "big" computers and drive the improvement of scientific research. In this talk, we will introduce China’s related research plans for supercomputing (2012‾2015) and co-design research in Chinese Academy of Sciences. |
