Industrial usage of HPC systems has consistently grown over the past years. However it is often stated that industrial simulation is done only on smaller systems with commodity architectures. In this session we will give an overview of how public research and industry can partake in the usage of high end HPC systems. Selected showcases will give an insight into how large scale HPC systems deliver benefits to industrial oriented simulations and how collaborative research can support this development. |
