|
The talk will situate High Performance Computing as a policy area of the Digital Agenda for Europe, the EU Commission's Flagship policy programme for information and communication technologies. In particular it will present the recent European Commission Communication on the future of public HPC support policies and funding in Europe and link it to the ongoing discussion about the best use of the EU's budget in the R&D&I area beyond 2014. There will also be a brief presentation of the European Commission's work on a European Cloud Computing Strategy. |
