Dr. Burkhard Steinmacher-Burow

Burkhard Steinmacher-Burow is a senior technical staff member at IBM Germany Research & Development. He has been a leading member of the Blue Gene hardware and software development team almost since its inception. He is co-author of 20+ US patents related to the BG/L, BG/P and BG/Q systems, mainly in the areas of network systems and of memory systems. Steinmacher-Burow has a PhD in physics from the University of Toronto.
