 Dr. Osamu TatebeUniversity of Tsukuba
Osamu Tatebe received a Ph.D. in computer science (1997, Univ. of Tokyo). He worked at Electrotechnical Laboratory (ETL), and National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) until 2006, becoming a chief research scientist. He is now an associate professor in Department of Computer Science at University of Tsukuba. He has been a co-chair of Grid File System Working Group of Open Grid Forum since 2004. He is a principal designer and developer of the Gfarm file system. His research area is parallel and distributed system software. He is a PI of JST/CREST "System Software for Post Petascale Data Intensive Science". |
