Student Cluster Challenge
The second Student Cluster Challenge (SCC), which is organized in collaboration with the HPC Advisory Council (HPCAC), is a great opportunity for students to demonstrate their cluster hardware and software capabilities in a friendly and fun competition.
The students will have a unique opportunity to learn, experience and demonstrate how high-performance computing influence our world and day-to-day learning. The Student Cluster Challenge is designed to introduce the next generation of students to the high performance computing world and community. This year’s challenge will feature nine teams from around the world:
- Purdue University, USA
- Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany
- EPCC, The University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom
- Centre for High Performance Computing (CHPC), South Africa
- Chemnitz University of Technology, Germany
- University of Colorado, United States
- Costa Rica Institute of Technology, Costa Rica
- Tsinghua University, China
- Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China
