Heading toward Exascale: ISC’12 Sessions to Look at Global Progress, Plans and Programs
HAMBURG, Germany, April 17 — Most high-performance computing experts agree that exascale systems will be a reality by 2020, but there is far less agreement and much more discussion on the route to achieving that goal. At the 2012 International Supercomputing Conference, experts from around the world will give their perspectives on where things stand now in regard to exascale and where the HPC community is heading. ISC’12 will be held June 17-21 in Hamburg.
ISC’12, the 27th conference in the series, is expected to draw 2,400 attendees from academia, research institutions and industry around the world. An estimated 160 leading organizations will showcase their products and research in the ISC exhibition.
