The Research Paper Sessions provide first class open forums for engineers and scientists in academia, industry and government to present and discuss issues, trends and results which will shape the future of high performance computing.
The ISC'14 Call for Papers is supported by IEEE Germany Section.
Out of all papers submitted, the Research Paper Committee has chosen the following papers for ISC'14. The Research Paper Sessions will be held Monday, June 23 through Thursday, June 26 and can be attended with a Special Focus Pass or a Conference Pass.

Monday, June 23
The PRACE ISC Award is sponsored by PRACE, the Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe. From all papers accepted for the ISC’14 Research Paper Sessions, the PRACE Scientific Steering Committee (SSC) has selected the following paper to receive the PRACE ISC Award:
The winner of this award will receive sponsorship for participation in a training event, or a conference relevant to petascale computing.
The Gauss Award is sponsored by the German Gauss Center for Supercomputing, which is a cooperation of the German national supercomputing centers at Garching, Jülich and Stuttgart. From all papers accepted for the ISC’14 Research Paper Sessions, the Gauss Award Committee has selected the selected the following paper to receive the Gauss Award.
The winner of the Gauss Award will receive a cash prize of 3,000 Euro courtesy of the German Gauss Center for Supercomputing.

All research papers accepted for ISC'14 are published in the Springer’s Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS), Volume 8488 2014 and are available as hardcopies during ISC’14 and as download at Springer's website for a limited time after ISC’14; a PDF version of the slides of each paper presentation will also be made available electronically to all ISC’14 attendees a few of days after the event.
