Research posters are an excellent opportunity to present latest research results, projects and innovations.
Out of all submissions, the Research Poster Committee has accepted the following 14 posters for presentation at ISC'14 (for more details on a poster, please click on the poster in the list below).
Each poster will be presented with a short talk during the Research Poster Session on Monday, June 23, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm in Hall 4. The author(s) of the best poster will receive the ISC Research Poster Award at the beginning of this session and will give a keynote talk on the award-winning poster (the award-winning poster will be announced at the end of April).
The research posters will be on display in the Hall 4 Foyer on Monday, June 23 and on the way to the exhibition hall (Multi-Purpose Area 3/4 Foyer) on Tuesday, June 24 and Wednesday, June 25.
It will be the first time that we will publish the extended abstracts of selected posters in the Springer's Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series. Additionally, a pdf version of each research poster will be included in the ISC'14 agenda planner and in the conference proceedings, which will be available online to ISC’14 attendees a few days after the event.
General Information for Research Poster Presenters
By submitting a poster, you have agreed to present your poster at ISC’14 in Leipzig, Germany. Poster presenters need to be registered ISC’14 participants, and only posters of registered presenters will be admitted.
Poster presenters are responsible for producing, setting up and removing the posters themselves. The useable area of the boards provided at ISC’14 is 897mm x 1750mm (35.3” x 68.9”), i.e. A0 portrait paper size (841mm x 1189mm/33.1” x 46.8”) or A1 land-scape paper size (594mm x 841mm/23.4” x 33.1”) fits on these boards. Please note that each poster presenter may only use one side of a board for his/her poster.
The ISC’14 organizers will provide poster numbers, double-sided tape etc., and there will be someone around to help poster presenters hang their posters. Poster set-up is on Monday, June 23 between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm in the Hall 4 Foyer, and posters can be removed on Wednesday, June 25 after 6:00 pm (posters that have not been removed by 8:00 pm will be discarded).
