Dr. Chandar is a research scientist at the Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC), A*STAR, Singapore. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Park College of Engineering and Technology, India in 2002, a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, India in 2004 and a Ph.D in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2010. Following his doctoral work, he joined the University of Wyoming, USA as a Postdoctoral fellow in high performance computing, and subsequently joined IHPC in Nov 2013. He specializes in unsteady aerodynamics, computational modeling and GPU computing.
