Dr. Alok Ranjan Nayak

Alok Ranjan Nayak is a Member of the Technical Staff (MTS) at the Robert Bosch Centre for Cyber Physical Systems, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. He obtained his M.Sc. in Physics from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, a Ph.D. in Physics in 2014 from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He was Senior Research Fellow (2007-2010) and a Junior Research Fellow (2005-2007) of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Human Resource Development Group, India. His research interests are (a) spatiotemporal chaos in mathematical models of excitable media such as cardiac tissue, (b) nonlinear dynamical systems, and (c) nonequilibrium statistical physics.
