Abstract:   In this poster, the authors will introduce the Square Kilometre Array project and describe the work of the Science Data Processor element. The element is responsible for designing the supercomputer system that is required to turn the raw signals captured by the telescope into the data products that radio astronomers will explore to gain a view of the early universe that is unprecedented in its detail and range. The authors will explain the unique contribution that iVEC is making to the Science Data Processor, combining its expertise in supercomputing and data with its experience of designing, procuring, and operating facilities for two of the three Square Kilometre Array precursor telescopes.
