|Abstract:||Eurotech will share best practices in maximizing datacenter energy efficiency in combination with characterizing, measuring, and predicting efficiency and productivity. Eurotech will explain why designing for energy efficiency in combination with high frequency sensor acquisition and data management is so important. Topics will include architecture and facility considerations such as integration, site selection, risk factors and issues impacting TCO and productivity. Attendees will learn about key benefits of the Eurotech innovative design and development—which uses hot water cooling instead of chilled water to efficiently cool the system and maximize performance—as well as remote system monitoring and cooling system management.
Paul Arts is Technical Director and head of operations of the HPC business unit of Eurotech. He is the head of engineering for all HPC related research and development in Eurotech. His main activities are the planning and coordination of research and development and the coordination of the operation in relation to high performance computing systems. Paul Arts holds a Master degree in electronic engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology. He is with Eurotech since 2010.
