Abstract:   Europe seeks to increase the impact of HPC for academia and industry, building on the three pillars which provide a strong base for growth: deployment of world-leading, cost-effective, HPC services, co-design initiatives to bring research and development capabilities of European HPC technology quickly to market, and the provision of excellent HPC applications expertise to support ambitious research to meet socio-economic and scientific goals . This session will highlight how each of these three strands of European HPC strategy is contributing to delivery of the vision of Horizon 2020.
