Student Cluster Competition
The ISC 2024 Student Cluster Competition is an ISC exhibition and conference highlight!
As part of the mission to expose young people to HPC, ISC 2024 and the HPC-AI Advisory Council host the 13th edition of the ISC Student Cluster Competition (ISC SCC). The competition actively shapes the careers of STEM university students by introducing them to the industry, HPC systems, machine learning applications, and more.
The 2024 competition welcomes 19 virtual and eight in-person teams. The in-person teams will participate in the competition held at ISC 2024, while the virtual teams will compete using the Bridges-2 supercomputers at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center (Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh), as well as the supercomputer HLRE-4 Levante at Deutsches Klimarechenzentrum (DKRZ).
We thank our partner, the HPC-AI Advisory Council, for organizing and overseeing the virtual and in-person competitions and all the judges and juries for their time and involvement.
The winning teams will be announced at an in-person awarding ceremony on May 15, at 5:30 pm, on the same stage as the keynote address on Wednesday.
